I have a 5month old male and already the best dog anyone can ask for. He is extremely tolerant of my 2 year old that tortures him. Brian is a great guy and answer all my questions better than any breeder I have spoke with. You can not find better blood these dogs are amazing. I give brian a A A A +

I recently bought a six month old Draco/Hanna female pup from Brian. In a word, WOW. She is beautiful, smart as heck, adaptable, sweet, loving, serious, mature for her age, and a total joy. I thank Brian SO much for his great breeding program and his great dogs. He is truly an artist and a huge lover of this magnificent breed, and understands them deeply. From the conversations we had I have already learned so much more about how to communicate with dogs. Thank you Brian- I look forward to years of pleasure, protection, fun, and enjoyment from the great young dog you sent us.

I want to thank you brian for allowing me to name my pup after the pit that started my admiration of the breed.ZEUS is truely carried on in ZEUS II. At 6 months old he has amazed me with his learning abilties. Smart,agile,loyal. He already is showing the ability to sense when someone is up to no good. He loves to be anywhere i go. I already knew the type and temperment i would be getting from my memory of your other dogs, zeus,grunt,annie,tara,and many others.yes people i have known Brian a long time there are NO other pit bulls that compare with his. Anyone who says otherwise is jealous that they arent able to match his accomplishments . Thanks ken in virginia.

I recently got a 5 month old puppy pitbull from a resuce and was at my wits end trying to train the dog so my wife would let me keep him. i looked online and emailed a friend a gopitbull.com and he refered me to Brian and so i called him and he gave me very sound advice about how to train the dog, i’d like to say that although i didn’t buy my dog from him he took time to talk to me as if i were a customer and helped me and my dog thank you so much you are not only a great breeder but a person who really cares about the breed, when i move to a new house and get another dog i am only buying from you

I would like to say that I have been searching for “true pitbull” for a long time. I came accross mcnamara pitbull kennels and knew I found what I was looking for instantly. When I called brian was everhthing I was looking for in the breeder as well, happy to talk to me and answer all the questions I had. He has been very easy to get In contact with always picking up his phone or returning calls in timely manner. I also spoke with his vet and got a great review. I cant wait to get my dog and will post again when he arrives.

I been searching for great dogs for a long time I came across Brian McNamara’s kennel and looked at his dogs and pedigrees he has all the stuff I ever wanted so I purchased a female from him we are very impressed in her great Attitude and she is very athletic and I’m so glad I found Brian McNamara’s kennels I’m soo tired of getting washed up dogs meaning people breeding to anything just to make a dollar and throwing everything off but not Brian he breeds for quality and performance. he has all the true stuff and he is very smart in what he does I’m purchasing another pup in a week or two I don’t think I’ll ever get another dog from anyone else thanks Brian keep it REAL

I’m 13 and I really want a pitbull so badly. People say it’s a bad dog but i think they shouldn’t judge them by their bad rap. People even my family think it’s a bit strange how their daughter wants a pit bull… but what’s so wrong with it! They are so cute especially the little puppies. I want one so badly that i’m counting the days until i turn old enough. Please keep doing what you’re doing because I really want to get a good pitbull from a SMART breeder. If the fools breeding the original pit bull wrong think they can fool me they’re wrong. So I really want to get one from your place! I’ll even drive 1,769 miles when i’m 18 to get one. So please don’t stop breeding them right! Only have 5 more years to go! Thanks again for maintaining the original pit bull bloodline(:

I just thought I would share my experience with those looking to buy from Mcnamara Pitbull Kennels. Let me start off by saying ,that I did extensive research to buy a quality game bred pitbull true to its standard. All of the big game dogs that are true to the breed are present. Brian’s hard work for the breed is all he claimed it to be. My little boys have a loyal ,patient,tolerant and no nonsense companion all rolled into one. Our male puppy from Brian is truly game and as loyal as they come. The transaction was flawless. He arrived in a quality crate with all his vaccines up to date. His pedigree papers were delivered as promised. And getting a hold of Brian for advice on anything was easy. My sincerest thanks to Mcnamara Pitbull Kennels for their great service and quality pedigree.

I am a true lover and believer in the “Real bred” Pitbull terrier.
In the 1980′s I was lucky enough to get a pure blooded Hienzel female pup. She was an amazing specimen. Agile as a cat, quick as a whip, and stronger than King kong.
What was most amazing to me was how intelligent loving and devoted she was. Not just to me but to any human or animal that she considered as her friend.
She acquired all of these awesome traits by being bred by a very smart and intelligent breeder. A breeder that bred for specific qualities and traits.
Facts are facts about the True Game Bred Pitbull terrier dog. You would not be able to enjoy your dog today if it weren’t for all those old timers breeding programs.
I will admit that it irritates me to read articles from Mr. and Mrs. “KNOW IT ALLs. Who claim how much they love and how devoted they are to the breed. Then in the next breath out of their mouth they show how ignorant they are by stating how to breed pitbulls with no selective breeding standards
It is a fact that a key breeding trait for a breeder back in the day was testing the dogs abilities.
These so called “KNOW IT ALL’s would not be able to speak so highly of their dogs character, demeanor, determination, and athletic ability if it had not been for those famous and historical Pit bull dogs.
So today I am a very proud owner of a piece of history. I have in my possesion a female pup from Brian McNamaras kennels.
I will admit that it took a lot of hours online searching for a breeder who is actually devoted to producing a piece of history.
When I first found McNamaras kennels on line and looked at his dogs pedigrees i was admitedly amazed and excited to have discovered it.
You see that first dog I had in the 80′s also sparked an interest in my desire to inquire about the history of the Pit Bull.
Admittedly I hated and despised reading anything. But give me a book about the history and the breeders of the pitbull terrier and you couldnt even get a 200 mph hurricane to rip it free from my hands.
So after all of my pain staking research and with all that being said. Brian McNamaras kennels has the best breeding program that is available.
Its unfortunate that most breeders have diminished and destroyed the real hisory and heritage of Pitbulls. 90% of breeders have been breeding for size and color.
Somehow their ignorance has led the public to believe that a giant head short little legs and a great big wide chest is a pitbull. I cant believe it when they call these dogs “GAME BRED” The only game they have is first one to the GRAVY BOWL. I swear these breeders are breeding dogs that are just a few DNA short of being a Bull dog.
Brians pedigree is stacked with history and those famous dogs that I read about when I was a kid.
It is also in my opinion that Brian is an incredible Pitbull dog man himself. His paper work shows how long he has been breeding.
Our many conversations on the phone with me asking him questions and us trading stories back and fourth was a reasurance that I had finally found a place to purchase a real Pitbull.
My female pitbull pup from Brian has every quality that is defined by what is a true game bred Pitbull.
She is only 4 months old right now. We drove from our homestate Oregon to Brians place in Montana to pick our pup up from Brian personally.
We did this for 2 reasons. One was to see his dogs and his place. The other reason was to see Brian face to face, shake his hand and thank him personally.
Not only did we get a great dog. We also made a new friend in Brian.
My hats off to Brian for what he is doing for the pitbull. He is keeping it real.

I’ve been looking for real pit bull dogs for 5 years. All I could find was blue bullies that are bred for the way they look; these things are not “real” pit bulls. I have had two bullies and both of them were lazy and worthless not anything like a “real” pit bull that”s bred for their intelligence and athleticism. “Eli”, “Jeep”, “Boomerang”, “Indian Bolio”,”Chinaman”, and the dogs in these bloodlines are exceptional dogs; smart and easy to train to do just about any thing, athletic as hell and eager to please, these are the “REAL” pit bulls. It is unfortunate that this younger generation of people (for the most part) does not have a clue; they think the blue bully sh** is where it’s at, little do they know.
The bloodlines you are breeding are exceptional, the authentic bloodlines that made the pit bull so popular for being great dogs. Now days a lot of people are bastardizing the breed mixing it with other breeds tuning them into mutts. I’m am so overjoyed I came across your website, I got a dog off of you when you where on the east cost many years ago(he was out of “Grunt” and worth much more than I paid) that’s how I know what a “real” pit bull is like. He was a healthy loyal companion for years. Thanks for keeping the pit bull bloodline “real” and not bastardizing it. Your breeding program is fantastic, and I’m sending you a deposit for another one of your dogs.
